  She's a PukiFee Luna in normal skin and arrived on Christmas Eve. Currently I'm still considering a name for her, but the more I think about it, the more I tend to Nana, just because she for some reasons reminds me of a really tiny version of SD Nana. Oh well. Now I'll have to try and see whether I can make her a couple of outfits. It's going to be difficult, but I'll try my best ;).

I had some leftovers from sewing Maitri's dress, so I've decided to make a dress for my Yo-SD as well. Oh well, another thing learned: never use raw silk for Yo dresses. It just doesn't work well.

... BJD-Magazine and I thought I'll share it here as well, just in case you don't know about it already. It has some really cute DIY articles and I hope there's going to be more of that kind of stuff :D.

Ich hatte da noch zwei Packungen Kunsthaar übrig, eine in violett, die andere in dunkelbraun und letzte Woche habe ich mich mal endlich drangesetzt und habe eine Perücke draus gemacht. Fazit, es ist nicht wirkich schwer, aber ziemlich zeitaufwändig. I had a lot of fun making this dreadlock wig, but it took me a lot of time. Not sure if I'll make another one.

Today I've finished the dress from the outfit, but as things are going currently I won't be able to finish it before the end of this month. The dress is also only completed, because I've skipped a couple of decorations and other stuff that were meant to be put on it. Maybe I will at least add some of the rhinestones I had the intention to add, when I started the dress. Currently I'm pondering whether or not to fill the balloon skirt with a little bit of padding to the dress to have the pumpkin shape show a little bit more. I've also finished a prototype for her hat and I hope that I will be able to finish this one as well till the end of October.

Since I had the urge to participate in this month's Project Runway Challenge I thought I'do some sort of Halloween Steampunk. So basically my idea was a pumpkin dress (that would be a dress, where the lower part is like a balloon skirt, yet slightly reminiscent of a pumpkin in shape), with a top hat (or something similar) and a lovely magician's cloak. So last week I went shopping and bought some lovely silk-like material in pink-orange for the dress and some darker red-brownish cloth for the cloak. I've already started the dress and finished the hardest part, the top of the dress. I feel pretty confident that the rest of the dress is gonna be a breeze! As you can see from the picture I prefer to sew a big part of the doll outfits by hand. Until now I haven't figured out, how to get the little details precisely done with the sewing machine, so I rather work a little bit slower and get my seams exactly where I want them to be ^__~

Okay, I guess you all still remember what Sôji used to look like before: Well, the face-up was lovely, but somehow he felt too young for me. So I decided to give him a face-up that has him look slightly more mature. I especially wanted to get him longer eyebrows. I love long eyebrows ^__^. Anyway, so that's what he looks like right now: Granted, you cannot see his eyebrows completely, but you have to believe me that they're much longer now. I still need to glue in his upper lashes though.

 Well, almost. She still lacks her horns, but the more I think about it, the more I want some antlers instead of horns for her. Most likely I will have to sculpt them myself, because until now I haven' found a pair that I really liked. Yet other than that she is complete. Her new lovely face-up and hooves blushing was done by Shiroi (thanks!) and luckily I was able to get a lovely brown wig at LDoll in France, so for now she's ready to be taken pictures of.

Actually I wanted to take a course in head sculpting this autumn, but as things go I won't have the time to attend. So I just got me the instruction sheets and am trying to practice all by myself. It's funny I never had great difficulties sculpting an anatomical correct body, but the head and especially the face gave me lots of headaches. Now those written instructions make it look fairly easy. So today I started practicing different mouth shapes. As you can see I couldn't help myself and added a little chin as well *lol*. Just a tiny little bit disproportionate, right?!! ^--~

Recently I got two new lenses as a present. Not sure yet, whether I like them or not. Before I got them I was told that one of them would be a regular lense, actually something that can be used as a default lense. Now it turns out that both lenses are a macro lenses. Darn, since I just got myself another set of macro lenses like 4 weeks ago -__- . But well, I'll better not complain at least I got them for free. The photos seem to turn out quite decent with them as well. Oh and since people often inquire about the girl in my avatar: she's a Crobidoll Thor head on a Volks SDG body. It was pretty much love on first sight, when I saw her on Crobi's website three years ago. And as you can see I pretty much kept the same kind of styling (wig, eyes, white clothing) they were advertising Thor with. However I've changed him into a girl. Sorry Crobi, but Thor absolutely looks like a girl to most people. The same goes for Lance btw. Her lovely face-up was done by Kesha . Unfassba

That would be me or with other words: it's that time of the year again when I start working on commissions for beanies and bonnets. Currently I'm even considering opening my own commission thread as well. Oh well, we'll see ;).

My Planetdoll Mini Tara recently left me, too. She was so cute, so poseable, had a lot of personality and was easy to carry around, but I admit that I generally prefer the SD - SD17 size. I would have kept her anyway though, but since I just have to save up a little bit for one of my dream dolls she had to go.

As I really need to reduce the amount of dolls I own, tough decisions have to be made. I finally gave in and decided to sell my beloved Miho as well. He will be moving to Berlin fairly soon. I hope he's going to find a home where he will be taken more care of there.

and we're ready for the festival in Lyon. Really and completely ready? No, unfortunately I haven't yet had the time to finish the outfits I made for the competitions and the deadline will already be on Wednesday :-/. So most probably I won't be able to join the competiotions. The picture above is a little bit Photoshop fun. That's what Euclase would look like if he was normal skin instead of gray skin.

I'd love to go there very much and hopefully I will be able to attend. It would be awesome to meet other collectors from all over Europe there ^-^

isn't a doll, but some macro lenses. For the past three months I was pondering whether to buy a close-up lens or not. And if yes what kind of lens as the prices and the quality of these vary pretty much. In the end I went with a simple lens kit, because it was readily available and on sale, too. Did I mention that I'm horribly impatient ;)? I'm really pleasantly surprised with it though as it's absolutely enough for taking nice photos and doing little experiments and in case I'll find out that I use them fairly enough I can still upgrade to the €€€ version later. Yet I can tell you, it's scary. With a lens like that you suddenly start to see the world through new eyes. In this case the face-ups of my dolls. You will notice the tiniest scratches in the face-ups of your doll that you haven't noticed before O.O Be warned! ;D Mein neuestes Spielzeug ist ein Makrolinsen Set, dass ich im Angebot für gerade mal EUR 30,- gekauft habe. So I'm back from my holiday journey it was lovely, yet too short of course. Holidays are always way too short ;). I took little Tara with me hoping to take some nice pictures of her on my trip, but well, as usually I almost forgot about that until the very last day.

One of those dolls in it is about to leave me and new ones did arrive during the last year. And some of the older dolls have slightly changed their style. My Io for instance hasn't been wearing his silver colored wig for a very long time. It was beautiful and gave him that amazingly chilly aristocratic appearance, but it lost hairs and was an annoyance to brush. So he's currently back to shaggy short black. Yet he's chilly anyway.

and apparently I'm not the only one ;). June is almost gone and there have only been very few warm and sunny days.

Okay, the year started fantastic. I sold 6 dolls. So far, so good. Yet then I couldn't resist the temptation and bought three new ones -_-. I'm bad and I know it, but how could I possibly resist this cute face ;) ?!

Okay, I'm done with Chrom's hooves. Now all they need is some blushing, but I cannot decide on a color scheme for them -_-

Eleonor got a new wig, I'm surprised that blonde suits her so well. That wig wasn't intended for her, but she's going to keep it for now. I've also changed her eyes to dark purple. It's pretty difficult to position her eyes by the way as she tends to look somewhat crosseyed. Guess I'll have to get me an eye beveler in her size. Another thing I've learned is that sticky stuff obviously melts hot glue over time. After her eyes were taken out, there was still plenty of hot glue left in her eye sockets. However, after about a year of using sticky stuff to hold the eyes the hot glue has turned soft and flexible. I could peel it out with my fingernails. O.O Anyway, she's such a pretty girl ^-^, I really love her soft smile and I'm very thankful to Kesha who gave her this new face-up.

Miri isn't much into Easter, but she loves decorating and chocolate -_- .

Finished another commission yesterday. This time it's a panda hat for a 1/4 sized doll. I really don't want to see wool anymore for the next couple of months. I'll stick exclusively to sewing the next weeks ^-~.

Just a few photos of Liz, because she's currently the one who gets the least attention.

So Soom's Breccia is finally on sale. And her new body comes with what ? Exactly, a larger breast. I mean it's not like if the original Super Gem body would have lacked anything in size, so why give it an even larger breast? xD I admit I'd rather like to see a female SG with a smaller cup size, but well -_-. I'm not too fond about her fantasy legs this time either. I like the idea of her being a fox and think that her paws are nicely sculpted, yet something about them makes me uncomfortable and keeps me thinking that they'll be hell difficult to balance and pose. They seem to be so small. It's my luck that she comes in Cream White only, so I'm pretty safe this time. It's a shame though, I still adore her face ^-^.

OH NO :´( ! I'm in love - and I didn't want to get another doll this year. But she is just so precious. I love almost everything about her (with the exception of the fantasy parts which I do not care for much). She has just such a beautiful face, her eyes are much like Topaz, whereas her mouth resembles Dia and partly Chrom, too. And it's the first time I love the face-up and the wig of the original Soom design as well. Oh my. If they offer her in normal skin as well, I will be doomed, erm I meant soomed .

but I realized that she would involve too much modding to make her work for me. I really love her skintone though. Usually I'm not a fan of fantasy colored dolls, but this one is okay, mainly because she isn't as expensive and it seems to be a really nice purple color.

That's why I wanted to take some photos today, but it was snowing again è_é. Therefore only a couple of pics, more are due to come when the weather will be better.

I've bought a DH white fer outfit and Lillie has been the first to try it. I was surprised to find that the outfit, especially the robe seems to be a little bit to small around the waist as I always had the impression that the EP 14yrs body would be more slender than the SD body.

I'm still working on my Chrom. I don't appreciate his appearance as a wolf much and I want to make him into a stag or maybe a centaur. So I'm experimenting with antlers and different types of hooves right now. This one was just a try to see if it would work proportionwise. It does, but I guess I still prefer the cloven hooves form. So either I have to wait till my Chalco hooves will arrive and try whether they'll fit or I'll have to sculpt him a pair of cloven hooves myself. PS: Did I ever mention that his beautiful Face-up was made by Kesha? It's absolutely beautiful, she really captured his mood as I had imagined it ^__^

Now all she still needs are some decent clothes. And perhaps a wig that is easier to comb ^-~ I'm really in love with her and wanted to share some pics with you.
