 What to do if the magnets that your dolls came with for their ears are to weak to hold said ears on, especially if this doll is wearing a more voluminous wig? The answer is simple, just sandwich one more strong magnet between the weaker ones. Go for rare earth/neodym magnets as these are extremely strong and choose them similar to the size (or little bigger) of the original magnets your doll came with. Also try to get rather flat ones, as you don't want them to be lifting your dolls wig too much.   The extra magnets are supposed to sit under the wig, else you would most likely see them. Then again, if you really have an extra voluminous, curly wig, you might even consider to put them over the wig, so that the ears can still be seen and don't disappear between the curls ;). 

  Lillycat Chibbi Newt So there are some dolls that really need a new makeover.  Just like this poor Kitty here. Although I actually like her wig as it goes really well with her eye color, it just doesn't fit her very particular head shape perfectly. It's a hard cap wig and without the magnets in the cat ears it would probably not even stay on. So I guess we'll have to find her another one.  And if we're already at it: the poor girl has been wearing this romper for over a year now, because I just don't have so many outfits for her very special and extremely pear shaped body.  So the plan for the end of the year is: find Semiramis a new wig and make her a new outfit, preferably something that would match the season outside.  *** Da ich ja diesen Blog etwas wiederbeleben will, ist die beste Idee ein paar WIPs zu posten.
