Since there is currently a preorder for the Chibi version of Newt, I thought I'd share a picture of my (original sized) Newt. I really like this kitty a lot, however, I think I do have to change something about her style. She might need another, more dramatic face-up I think. I don't have any clues though what exactly I'd love for her. Maybe for a change I should try myself at changing (or improving) her face-up. If everything fails, I can still send her away for a more professional face-up. And, of course, I also need the Chibi Version of her :D. 

   Today I received a wig from eBay and the seller sent it in a very cute mailer. I've never seen anything similar to that before, but I'd wished they'd offer mailers like that here, too :). Especially if you had a rough day, it's often those little things that can make you happy.    The wig itself is okay-ish. It was advertised and sold as 7/8, but it feels more like a 7 inch wig, so it's unfortunately too small for the doll that it was intended for, but I'm sure I will be able to find an owner for it one day, too.     Here is Samuel sporting the wig, because he's probably the only one who can wear almost anything and still look somehow decent in it. And also because I haven't shown a picture of him in a long time. 

Und eine Doll mehr, die mich diese Woche verlassen wird, weil sie ein schönes neues zu Hause in den Staaten gefunden hat :). Soom Noellia . Oh, ich mochte diese Doll auf den ersten Blick und hatte mich schon so darauf gefreut, sie endlich in Händen halten und bemalen zu können. Vor allem ihre Flügel, die mich in den Promofotos an bemalte Tiffanyfensterscheiben erinnerten hatten es mir angetan. Aber irgendwie hat es nicht wirklich sollen sein mit uns beiden. Erst ärgerte Soom mich mit überlangen Wartezeiten. Soweit ich weiß, war sie die einzige meiner Doll, die die damals eingeführte Garantiewartezeit überschritten hat. Gut, es waren nur wenige Tage, dennoch habe ich keinen Refund bekommen und ehrlich gesagt war mir das dann auch zu stressig, es im Nachhinein noch einzufordern. Ich glaube es wäre ohnehin nur wieder ein Gutschein für Soom gewesen und zu der Zeit hatte ich keine Lust mehr auf weitere Bestellungen bei ihnen. Und dann ist da noch die Doll selber, sie ist wunderschö

Gestern kam unerwartet mein Oscardoll Paket an. Unerwartet deshalb, weil es laut Tracking immer noch im Importzentrum sein sollte, aber offensichtlich hält es die DHL/Post zur Zeit mit ihrem Tracking so wie Lindner, "besser gar kein Tracking als schlechtes Tracking". Die Größe des Paketes hat mich allerdings überrascht, denn ich hatte nur 4 Paar Augen bestellt, die hätten sie auch locker in einen wesentlich kleineren Karton packen können, aber als ich das Paket aufmachte, sah ich den Grund für die Größe, denn sie hatten mir viele Goodies eingepackt, unter anderem Süßigkeiten, Sticker und ein Geschenk, einen Haarreif. Aber was für ein Haarreif, ich musste ihn erst ein paar Sekunden betrachten, bevor ich realisierte, was es ist. Er ist mit Blumen dekoriert, mit Schleifen und Bändern, mit Federn, mit Fur, mit Glitzer, mit Blütenblättern und noch dazu thront - oder brütet - da noch ein Vögelchen oben drauf ;). I'm having a really hard time finding the right kind of wig for my Dollshe Rosa. I do not know why, but from the beginning I did have a particular kind of style for her in mind. Red hair with bangs and a pony-tail, but somehow that style is hardly available, especially in the 6/7 size range. Until now I've tried at least seven(!) different wigs on her, but none of those were exactly what I was looking for. :/    And for some reason this really put me off from doing much with her. She is still hands down one of my most favorite dolls, but she is a little difficult thanks to her very special body size. For now she'll stay with this wig though. For some reason I do like the color on this one as it isn't such a bright and intensive (and fake) looking color as most of the other wigs are. It isn't too natural looking either, but I do think that it matches her skin color, her face-up painting and her eye color nicely, so this one will have to do.    Now it's t
