Another set of lenses

Recently I got two new lenses as a present. Not sure yet, whether I like them or not. Before I got them I was told that one of them would be a regular lense, actually something that can be used as a default lense. Now it turns out that both lenses are a macro lenses. Darn, since I just got myself another set of macro lenses like 4 weeks ago -__- . But well, I'll better not complain at least I got them for free. The photos seem to turn out quite decent with them as well.

Oh and since people often inquire about the girl in my avatar: she's a Crobidoll Thor head on a Volks SDG body. It was pretty much love on first sight, when I saw her on Crobi's website three years ago. And as you can see I pretty much kept the same kind of styling (wig, eyes, white clothing) they were advertising Thor with. However I've changed him into a girl. Sorry Crobi, but Thor absolutely looks like a girl to most people. The same goes for Lance btw. Her lovely face-up was done by Kesha.

Unfassbar, aber wahr: erst jammere ich fast ein Jahr herum, weil ich kein vernünftiges Makro-Objektiv habe und dann gelange ich innerhalt kürzester Zeit gleich an drei. Mit der Qualität der Objektive bin ich allerdings sehr zufrieden. Vor allem eines von den neuen ist großartig, es macht sehr scharfe Bilder, auch ohne das man ein Stativ benutzt.

Chibbi Newt Preorder

Since there is currently a preorder for the Chibi version of Newt, I thought I'd share a picture of my (original sized) Newt. I really like this kitty a lot, however, I think I do have to change something about her style. She might need another, more dramatic face-up I think. I don't have any clues though what exactly I'd love for her. Maybe for a change I should try myself at changing (or improving) her face-up. If everything fails, I can still send her away for a more professional face-up. And, of course, I also need the Chibi Version of her :D.

So the reasons why there weren't any new posts in this blog in the last weeks was that I dedicated every free minute to the challenges in the DoA triathlon. Now that the triathlon is finally over and the winners were announced, I'll happily show you my creations and tell you a little bit about it, too. The doll I choose to be my model in this challenge was Naoumie, my Withdoll Emma. Her tan skin forms such a nice contrast to the transparent/white parts of her outfit. The idea with the goldfish bowl was literally the first idea I had. I knew that I had to make this on a low budget (I spent too much money on dolls lately and refused to buy more stuff), so I looked around for transparent plastic items that I could use and I came across those little plastic bowls. The one she's wearing as a head decoration /fascinator. I have three of them and I bought them a couple of years ago (I think they were filled with fruit pudding), just because I thought that they'd make n

  So, let's start from the beginning. First we will need a new wig for Semi. While I really do love her colourful old one, it's really time for something new, something to go well with her new, more romantic look. At first I thought that maybe a short, bob style would be nice, but then I settled on a type of wig that would better accentuate her pear shaped body, by basically repeating that shape.  Yup, I think that's the new look we're going for.  EDIT: And we already found one to match the criteria. It's a little bit too large on her head, but otherwise it's the perfect length and volume. The ears should be able to keep it in place just fine.
