Wow, he's handsome and I really like his face. His lips and chin slightly remind me of Chrom.
I guess it's the first time I even really like the default Face-up and the wig on a MD for a very long time.

    ...He's gorgeous! Are you going to go for him? I wanted to apologise for not writing you back in so long! My thesis is really giving me trouble at the moment, so I haven't been communicating at all until I've gotten over this obstacle! I wanted to let you know to please feel free to use the photo of Marissa in the hat you made on your website, but that I hope to take a better picture of her in it, when it's sunny out!

Chibbi Newt Preorder

Since there is currently a preorder for the Chibi version of Newt, I thought I'd share a picture of my (original sized) Newt. I really like this kitty a lot, however, I think I do have to change something about her style. She might need another, more dramatic face-up I think. I don't have any clues though what exactly I'd love for her. Maybe for a change I should try myself at changing (or improving) her face-up. If everything fails, I can still send her away for a more professional face-up. And, of course, I also need the Chibi Version of her :D.

Resin comparison between DoDollsDream and DollFairyland

  I was asked to do a resin comparison between DoDollsDream nostalgic biscuit and Fairyland tan.  While the colors are very similar, they are not the same. Nostalgic biscuit is slightly more yellowish and pale compared to the Fairyland tan which seems to be darker and a little bit more reddish in tone. However, I'm sure that a hybridisation with a little bit of blushing to match colors would work.  I have also included in this picture a sample of then caramel forest tan color, which is way closer to the Fairyland tan. The caramel forest tan has only been released with the Petite Marionettes though and not with the Teacup Marionettes as far as I know.  And here they are with artificial light:

Refurbishing

I'm currently working on a diorama project for my ¼ sized dolls. Since they are mainly girls ... and also girls who love girly stuff, we decided, that they are going to get a shabby chic styled living room on the middle shelf of my cabinet. Everything will be kept in white with accents in pastel colors and lots of roses. We started working with the couch. This is what the couch looked like 3 weeks ago: This is what the couch looked like after almost 3 hours of taking it apart: This is what it looked like after the first coat of white color and with the new upholstery: I told you, I'll be going for white and motives with roses. Cliché-y much? Yes, but also cute xD. Which leads us to what the couch looks like right now: Already looking good, isn't it? I still need to add a decorative ribbon around the upholstery, similar to what the original design had, so that it'll look more nicely, but I still did not get around doing this.  Honestly, I...
