Shiny, shiny!

There are a lot of things going on with my collection currently. I've decided for my own sake to downsize it and instead of constantly getting new ones, finishing up with all the old ones who still lack blushings/clothing/wigs/eyes and whatnot.

So I've sold Euclase, I've sold one of my Cuprits (the LE Dark Frost version, but I've kept my Cuprit mod Hybrid) and I'm currently in the process of selling my Ender as well. Although it is a pity to let all of those gorgeous dolls go, it is also a kind of relief to me. It feels better to have fewer and to be able to concentrate more on them. 

And as a first I've decided to finish the blushings on my Syen's hooves. (Well, yes, my Syen wears Glot hooves instead of her original gargoyle feet.)  I've also tried for the first time to use Pearl Ex Powder on body parts - and wow is it shiny O___O. But I love that effect, my Syen is a girly-girl, so it fits well with her overall concept xD.

    Aww man, downsizing one's collection is tough. I feel like that I should do that too, I just can't think of which to let go first. :P I'd love to have a smaller collection for several reasons.

    Loving the blushing on those hooves. ^^

Chibbi Newt Preorder

Since there is currently a preorder for the Chibi version of Newt, I thought I'd share a picture of my (original sized) Newt. I really like this kitty a lot, however, I think I do have to change something about her style. She might need another, more dramatic face-up I think. I don't have any clues though what exactly I'd love for her. Maybe for a change I should try myself at changing (or improving) her face-up. If everything fails, I can still send her away for a more professional face-up. And, of course, I also need the Chibi Version of her :D.

  So, let's start from the beginning. First we will need a new wig for Semi. While I really do love her colourful old one, it's really time for something new, something to go well with her new, more romantic look. At first I thought that maybe a short, bob style would be nice, but then I settled on a type of wig that would better accentuate her pear shaped body, by basically repeating that shape.  Yup, I think that's the new look we're going for.  EDIT: And we already found one to match the criteria. It's a little bit too large on her head, but otherwise it's the perfect length and volume. The ears should be able to keep it in place just fine.

So the reasons why there weren't any new posts in this blog in the last weeks was that I dedicated every free minute to the challenges in the DoA triathlon. Now that the triathlon is finally over and the winners were announced, I'll happily show you my creations and tell you a little bit about it, too. The doll I choose to be my model in this challenge was Naoumie, my Withdoll Emma. Her tan skin forms such a nice contrast to the transparent/white parts of her outfit. The idea with the goldfish bowl was literally the first idea I had. I knew that I had to make this on a low budget (I spent too much money on dolls lately and refused to buy more stuff), so I looked around for transparent plastic items that I could use and I came across those little plastic bowls. The one she's wearing as a head decoration /fascinator. I have three of them and I bought them a couple of years ago (I think they were filled with fruit pudding), just because I thought that they'd make n
